Dr Sunita Pandey

FRACGP, MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG

Dr Sunita Pandey is an experienced and qualified doctor who has recently relocated to Canberra, Australia with her family. Originally from Nepal, Dr Pandey obtained her Masters degree in the UK and worked in several hospitals including Birmingham Children's Hospital, Lincoln County Hospital, Pool Hospital, Hillingdon Hospital and Bedford Hospital. She has worked across various medical specialities including primary care, neurosurgery, general medicine, accident & emergency, trauma & orthopaedics, gynaecology, paediatrics, palliative care, chronic illness management, elderly care, and more.

Before joining Crace Medical Centre, Dr Pandey worked as a General Practitioner in the UK. Her interests in dermatology, women's health, paediatrics, mental health, and chronic disease management have allowed her to provide excellent patient care. She is polite, professional, empathetic, and puts patients at the center of her care.

Dr Pandey is competent in various clinical procedures such as joint injections, contraceptive implant insertion + removal, skin checks and cryotherapy for skin lesions, and she is fluent in English, Nepalese and Hindi. In her free time, Dr Pandey enjoys practicing yoga and taking long walks. She also enjoys reading good books and watching movies. With her wealth of experience, Dr Pandey is a valuable asset to Crace Medical Centre.

Dr Dora Shirin

FRACGP, MBBS

Dora’s areas of interest include Antenatal Care, Diabetes Management, Obstetrics, Paediatric and Women’s Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health.

She is passionate about primary care and believes good health outcomes are achievable when a GP consistently stands by their patients through the various phases of life.

Dora brings a wealth of clinical experience to Crace Medical Centre which includes a local Canberra experience spanning 8years of clinical practice at the University of Canberra Health & Counselling Services from Jan 2011 – February 2019.

She most recently practiced in Melbourne as a GP between March 2019 and Oct 2021 before returning to the ACT for the love of Canberra, a beautiful heart of the Nation.

Being on the frontline through a difficult period of extended COVID-19 lockdowns in Melbourne, Dora worked hard to support the health of her local community in Craigieburn.
Her strong commitment to her patients through such a difficult time in history is a reassurance for any patient seeking a dedicated GP who would stand with them through thick and thin.
Dora’s diversity of clinical experience also includes New Zealand (where she completed her GP training program), Bangladesh, Iran.
She holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) completed at Rajshahi Medical College Bangladesh, attained a Fellowship status with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) in 2006.

Dora has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2011.

Her language spoken are English, Bengali and Basic Persian.

Dr Pavithra (Pavi) Pathiranage

FRACGP, AMC, MBBS

Dr Pavi Pathiranage (FRACGP, AMC, MBBS) is a local doctor. Before joining Crace Medical Centre, she worked as a GP in South Australia, Victoria and NSW for more than 5 years. She qualified at University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2009 and then moved to Australia. She has trained in various specialities during her post graduate training including general medicine, surgery, paediatrics, emergency medicine, genecology and obstetrics.

Dr Pavi Pathiranage is passionate about all aspects of general practice with special interests in women’s health, paediatrics, mental health and chronic disease management. She speaks English and Sinhalese and can understand Hindi.

She loves spending her free time with her family, singing, running and photography.

Dr Wai Hang (Eddie) Lam

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Eddie Lam has completed his general practice training in Hong Kong in 2009 before relocating to Australia in 2021.

He has been practicing in primary health care since 2009. He believes that primary health care plays an important role in the health care system. He speaks English and Cantonese. In his leisure time, Dr Lam enjoys spending time with family, running and hiking.

Kereng Modise

Physiotherapist

Kereng graduated from the University of South Australia (Adelaide) in 2006. She has since worked across different areas of Physiotherapy. Since moving to Canberra, she enjoys walking around the lake.

Paul is an accredited dietitian with years of experience serving the greater Canberra region. He is able to help with:

Paul bulk bills all eligible patients. For private patients, Paul's fee is $66 inclusive of GST. Patients with private health insurance may be eligible to claim an amount of this fee, depending on your level and type of cover.
